Next Saturday October 17th/2015 at the Fashion Square Mall at 6:00pm our little Pug “Hugo” who you all know (as he is one of my favorite models on my social media postings), and myself will be getting all clean and spiffy and returning from Tucson Fashion Week the evening before, to help radio stars Johnjay & Rich to help raise funds for a great cause, all thanks to my dear Arianna Sinclair, who during a visit to town, asked me;
– “Do you want to help foster kids”?
What else to say, other than “yes, of course!” – So, she proceeded to tell me that she and JGroup Media were working on a one of a lkind event and I needed to bring Hugo with me on the runway.
I was “paws-on” with the idea, and I knew little Hugo would be too (not much to say, other than bark), I guess!
The #LoveUP campaign is one started by John Jay & Rich, the very lively radio personalities part of the every morning show on iHeart Radio – who years back decided to take action and help to raise funds for children that are part of the Arizona Foster Care System, one that is close to home as we looked at some point into adoption and are aware of the needs these kids face.
Myself as many other locals will be on the runway all squeaky clean to give a hand to the cause. One of my favorite brands will be providing my garments and looks, while our little Hugo will be wearing his latest SillyBuddy bow tie and matching leash.
A fun evening with lots of heart and with an incredible after party at the W Hotel Scottsdale, full of silent auction items and other surprises, for sure not to be missed.
