Back when the “Times of Covid” ere not still here, I sat with my dear amigo and colleague Mark Candelaria at his beautiful home to be one of his guests for his very much anticipated Podcast.
It was his Season 1 of the show and I was incredibly honored to be a guest!
More so, because during those days, my goal was to raise the highest amount funds for Scottsdale Arts (an institution that I admire and respect), as part of the 20th anniversary of the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA), to which I’ve been a board member for more than a decade.
“Starry Night” the name of the gala, I chaired with a fantastic committee with me and the support of the Scottsdale Arts Staff, and the help of many sponsors, volunteers and assistants…it was a huge success!
Here is a recount of the event that took place last December 7th of 2019 here; Starry Night
Raising more than the funds expected and creating a new look and a new flair to the annual ARTrageous Gala hosted by Scottsdale Arts Board and every year’s chair and Committee.
My conversation with Mark was pleasant and filled with incredible feedback and energy that only him is able to deliver.
You can listen to it here;
All I can say is that when you connect with someone at the same level there is a commonality, and you share a clear vision of what the world could be, the conversations could go for hours.
Last week, I learned that my interview was one of the “Top 7 Episodes from Season One”, go figure!
I ought to thank Architect, Mark Candelaria from Candelaria Design and his lovely Interior Designer wife Isabel Dellinger Candelaria from Earth & Images for opening the doors of their home and having me as a guest.
It was a great pleasure and it is always a pleasure.
Always in style,
